Aboriginal Healthy Babies and Healthy Children (AHBHC)

The role of AHBHC worker is to be a helper, an Auntie to support families through home visits. Culturally appropriate activities and services are also offered to families, free of charge, which encourage the whole family to participate. Another objective is to ensure that families have access to services and support that will address their needs.

 The goal is to assist all Aboriginal families to provide the best opportunist for healthy child development until the child reaches six years of age, through the components of home visiting, service coordination and referrals, participants-best programmes. Positive Networking between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal organizations.
