The Indigenous Criminal Courtwork Program

The Indigenous Criminal Courtwork Program assists accused offenders to better understand their rights, options and responsibilities when appearing before the courts with a charged offence. Indigenous Courtworkers are not Lawyers and do not give legal advice. Priorities for the Courtworker are advocacy at the time of bail and sentencing for accused Indigenous people.
