Aboriginal Healthy Babies and Healthy Children (AHBHC)

Greetings the AHBHC support worker is to be an Auntie to support, guide and nurture spirits of Indigenous families and their children (prenatal to age six). The non-intrusive program assists families to provide their children with love and many cultural and parental teachings so that their children can reach their full potential and meet healthy child developmental stages.

Home visiting is one of the main components which allows the families to meet in the privacy of their own home. Service coordination and referrals are also available upon need of the family. Culturally appropriate activities and programming are offered to families. You are encouraged to become a participant of the AHBHC program as well as a member of the Fort Erie Native Friendship Center just call 905-871-8931 for more information.
