Youth Navigator

Assisting Indigenous Youth on their journeys while establishing a strong sense of cultural awareness and self-identity. We focus primarily on culturally relevant programming to promote life skills and assist in life mapping and goal setting. The youth navigator position also assists the youth in maximizing the potential of their community resources both within the centre and through external agencies as well. The Youth Navigator position is responsible for the empowerment and development of the youth of our community by networking through various programming to ensure that what the youth communicate as their needs. Through the medicine wheel intake process, we are able to address the current needs of the youth of our community. The youth navigator position works with youth under federal guidelines of ages15-29 and free of any other stigmas or labels.
